    Very nice and I got a large just because I needed a white dress and a large was the only size available. It fit, unbelievable! I wear a small and sometimes depending on quality and style a medium. Akira's sizes got me baffled. Again, I love so many of their pieces. Im waiting on a few items now. Thank you!

    Beautiful dress- Runs very small

    When I opened package, I thought I had been inadvertently sent a size small, rather than the "large" I ordered. After confirming it was in fact labeled as a size large, I then thought that the material must be stretchy. I was wrong! I could not get dress over my head. Tried stepping into the dress, but was unable to get my arms into the sleeves. I'm 5'4 170 pounds. A size 1X would probably be a better fit based on my measurements. Unfortunately this is a final sale. I originally reviewed this dress with a 3 star rating because of the inaccurate sizing. This could be a duplicate review because my 1st review mysteriously didn't post.

    When I took the dress out of the packaging I thought it looked more like a small than the size large that I ordered. My next thought was, perhaps there was a lot of stretch in the material. I was wrong! Could not get it on over my head. Tried stepping into the dress, but was unable to get my arms into the sleeves. If you are a typical size " small" this dress should fit you perfectly. This is a final sale. Mediocre rating is based on inaccurate sizing.
