The AKIRA Label Ways To Go Metallic Adjustable Dress is a ruched hooded mini crafted from high-shine silver fabric with dramatic texture and edge. The dress features full-length ruched seams running vertically down the front, back, and sleeves, creating an exaggerated gathered effect. A functional zipper at the center front is topped with a drawstring at the neckline for a secure fit, while bungee cord drawstrings at the hem allow for adjustable ruching and asymmetric draping.     This is not a good dress

    This is the worst garment I have gotten from Akira or possibly anywhere. The fabric is rough, thin, and chintzy, and the dress wears like a potato sack. It's so unflattering - drawstrings allow you to adjust the length of individual vertical seams, but not the actual fit, which I found normal in the shoulders but baggy around the waist even in a size S. Particularly egregious is the chest, where the zipper makes a weird bulge like the one you'd see at the crotch of a pair of jeans while sitting in them. The fabric looks and feels like a trash bag. At its sale price, I thought it would be a fun silly outfit to wear to the club without feeling too precious about it. After trying it on, it's actually unwearable & ungiftable, which is too bad since it's final sale! If I had bought this dress at its retail price of $99.90, I would have been absolutely livid.
