Beautiful Fit!
I had an anniversary dinner the next night, and I needed a new dress. I went into AKIRA for the first time, and I tried on 2 or 3 items in 5 minutes right before the mall closed. This dress looked beautiful in the store and even better in person. It wasn’t too tight, it wasn’t see through like it looks, and it was very flattering.

LOVE!!
I got so many compliments on this dress. It fit so well the ruching on the side gives it a little extra something. It fit perfectly it was breathable. This dress is definitely a showstopper.

The size charts are general guidelines for average measurements. Sizes will vary depending on designer, cut, style and fabrication. Most of our clothing will fit true to size unless otherwise noted. Our models are on average of 5'9 - 5'10 and wear a size small, size 2 - 4.

Shoes

Shoe size may vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. Fit is tested using size 7.5-8 shoe. Recommendations to order smaller or larger shoes will be visible on the description (e.g., "runs narrow; order 1/2 size up.")

HOW TO MEASURE SHOE SIZE LENGTH:

Place ruler on the ground, perpendicular to the wall, so the '0' is against the wall. In bare feet, step on the ruler, with the back of your heel against the wall. The measurement taken at the longest part of your foot determines your shoe size.

HOW TO MEASURE SHOE SIZE WIDTH:

With the ruler in the same position, step with your bare foot onto the ruler - this time with the outside of your foot touching the wall. The measurement taken at the widest part of your foot determines your shoe width.

HOW TO MEASURE HEEL HEIGHT:

We measure from a size 8-8.5 shoe and will vary slightly depending on the size you order. The heel is measured up the center back of the heel to where it meets the sole. All measurements are approximate and rounded down to the nearest quarter inch.
