    Too small

    This was my mother's day gift from my son. Love the dress without the shorts you have to step in it. I need a 1X it's snug I couldn't button it and I would wear as a jacket. Purchase a XL

    Dress made with shorts underneath

    My son bought me this ruffle dress for mother's day he thought it was a jacket. It's a dress with shorts underneath. My son purchase a XL was too snug I could not button it. Akira did not have a size up in stock. I had to have it altered. Size up cost more than it cost to have altered.

    It’s Strictly Biz

    Definitely a nice one piece for Fall/Spring. Only indoors for summer. It’s heavy. It’s very short so I wear layer shorts to keep my secrets secret.

    I have other colors as well and this isn’t stacking up to be the best but it’ll get plenty of use. SIZE UP! It’s Akira and it runs super tight in the waist & bust.

    Reference, I’m under five feet, 112, DD cup and I had to purchase a medium instead of a small. Glad I did.

    Akira returns are a hassle… definitely size up.

    The quality, weight, and color are excellent! I agree with the other reviews this item runs small. I did size up from a medium to the xlg for two reasons one I am ample chested 34H and two the comments from others on the sizing. The extra large fit perfectly. I am 5’ 6” and weigh 170 lbs 36-26-39.
