    Terrible customer support

    This item is fine. I purchased an XL based on the size chart. It's a little larger than I expected, but, I'll deal with it. I don't want the headache of dealing with Akira's customer service. My comment below is regarding a different order.

    Since I'm not making progress with customer support, this is my only option. If you purchase from Akira, be prepared for headache if there's an issue. Your item may not arrive. Customer service is hard to navigate. No human support. Support is automated, takes you in loops.

    My order was lost by Fedex. Per the tracking history, it was never delivered. A template email from Akira misquoted their return policy and instructed me to file a claim with 2 options, reshipment (final sale) or store credit. Although the event date will have passed, I don't mind reshipment. But, I didn't purchase a final sale item. They gave me 48hrs to file a claim, but hasn't responded to my concern about the reshipment being final sale. So, I'm stuck.

    I've already been inconvenienced by not having an outfit for an event as well as hours wasted trying (and failing) to get assistance from Akira and Fedex. To be clear, FedEx is responsible for the lost item. But, Akira's lack of assistance is frustrating. Buyer beware. Purchasing from this store is risky. This is my 3rd order in 1 month. The other 2 were fine.
