Complete with a body-hugging, mini-length silhouette. Pair with thigh-high boots and a clutch for a finished look.

    “in theory only” patent dress

    Took a chance, as I’ve been eyeing this dress since it first came out. The design is so me, but alas the execution is so not. The dress is very stiff therefore not a lot of fun to wear. Purchased size small and while it has zero stretch it’s quite large on me. It doesn’t hug in the right places, and squeaks when you move. The sleeves are way too long and they will not scrunch up. I dub this the “in theory only” patent dress in navy. If they had made it in a slightly different vinyl it would have been great, but it is not.

    Bad zipper

    I love Akira, but wow do I wish that they would invest more in their zippers. Like the other review, zipper split immediately and the dress was unwearable. I found the sizing ok though.

    Sizing is off the extra large was way too big. The large was too small.
