I absolutely LOVE these!
These are gorgeous. I have had great luck with Akira shoes and I'm typically a size 8. These I had to re-buy in an 8.5 which is super unusual for me. I also have a slightly wider foot so they are definitely a bit snug but they're totally doable - the 8 I bought first was waaaay too uncomfortable to wear for anything other than a photoshoot or something. If you are a super wide foot, these will probably be uncomfortable as they are quite narrow. I also have fairly thick calves and the wideness at the top of the boot is fantastic. Only reason to knock off a star is the size issue. I bought them on a 'final sale' so I had couldn't exchange but didn't think that would even be an issue as I'm always an 8 in Akira.

The size charts are general guidelines for average measurements. Sizes will vary depending on designer, cut, style and fabrication. Most of our clothing will fit true to size unless otherwise noted. Our models are on average of 5'9 - 5'10 and wear a size small, size 2 - 4.

Shoes

Shoe size may vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. Fit is tested using size 7.5-8 shoe. Recommendations to order smaller or larger shoes will be visible on the description (e.g., "runs narrow; order 1/2 size up.")

HOW TO MEASURE SHOE SIZE LENGTH:

Place ruler on the ground, perpendicular to the wall, so the '0' is against the wall. In bare feet, step on the ruler, with the back of your heel against the wall. The measurement taken at the longest part of your foot determines your shoe size.

HOW TO MEASURE SHOE SIZE WIDTH:

With the ruler in the same position, step with your bare foot onto the ruler - this time with the outside of your foot touching the wall. The measurement taken at the widest part of your foot determines your shoe width.

HOW TO MEASURE HEEL HEIGHT:

We measure from a size 8-8.5 shoe and will vary slightly depending on the size you order. The heel is measured up the center back of the heel to where it meets the sole. All measurements are approximate and rounded down to the nearest quarter inch.
