Let me start by saying I was excited about the old-school design of these boots and looked forward to wearing them for my photoshoot. First, if you have big legs, these boots are not girl-friendly for curvy figures. I typically buy coats from here, but this was my first time trying the shoes, and I won't make that mistake again. Please check the measurements before you buy; the 12-inch circumference goes up too high. Second, the boots are not worth the price. Although it states manmade material, the photos make them look realistic, but in reality, they resemble plastic. What upset me the most was either not being able to zip them all the way up or that they looked cheap and wouldn't last after the first winter. The material is the sort that peels easily. If they redesigned the measurements to be 17 inches at the calf and above, used better quality faux leather, and improved the overall look—like their original design, which features wooden heels and cowhide leather—they would be more worth it. This is a disappointing experience for me.
