AMINA BROCADE SHORTS

The shorts were probably my least favorite part of this outfit, initially. However, after purchasing the outfit, the shorts were definitely a great call for Akira. They add just the right amount of contemporary flare to make this outfit modern and sleek but are still an excellent length for keeping things classy and snazzy while allowing you a moderate level of modesty that a skirt wouldn't have permitted. These shorts DO NOT have any stretch. Therefore, you must purchase the size that corresponds to your actual measurements and cannot base the size selection off your experience with other brands. For example, I generally would purchase a small bottom when I buy clothing from other stores but from Akira I wear a large. These shorts did run a bit on the small size, so an XL would not have been a poor choice, although I make do perfectly fine in the large. You will not regret this purchase, as this ensemble is a total show stopper and you will turn heads everywhere you go. As the metallic brocade fabric catches the light, people will literally be gaping in your direction. it's a feeling like nothing you can imagine. For reference, I am 5'1, 135 pounds.
