The bar and prong of the ankle strap is inside of the stretch tape, not it's own pleather loop. That means it's not a matter of if it will snap, but how soon and how badly you're going to kiss the ground. I'll likely have to fix it because I'm not trying to eat ish in public.

These are even cuter in person, I ordered the brown ones first and they were so comfortable that I had to double back for the black ones. I’ve worn the black ones out for date night and received several compliments. A must buy if you’re into fashion.
