AKIRA partnered with local youth arts organization SkyART on a limited edition clothing collection designed by the program's young artists themselves.
The I AM ME collection showcases the extraordinary talents of some of our store staff, who helped to design this line for Pride Month. Proceeds from the sale of the I AM ME collection were donated to various LGBTQIA+ organizations as selected by each staff designer.

What Is Deic?
AKIRA'S DEIC serves the company as an advocate for continuous improvement in its Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion efforts. We work in various roles and locations throughout the company and serve as representatives of every AKIRA employee. We partner with community organizations, implement policy and training improvements, and run initiatives to bring awareness to important social issues. Any Full-Time employee may apply to be a member of the DEIC.
