Oh so cute
These sandals are very attractive and true to size. I purchased a size 9 and it’s a perfect fit. I like the color and this shoe is perfect for spring and summer.

Disappointing customer service
This shoe looks really cute however mine broke on the first wear. I was on vacation and left my hotel room to go to lunch. I got as far as the pool before the strap on the right shoe broke. Even worse was Akira’s response. They said that the shoes couldn’t be returned because they showed signs of wear. (I had already told them that they broke while I was walking ) They offered me a 20 percent refund or 50 percent off of a replacement pair. When I told them that I didn’t find either of those options acceptable they stated that those were the only options available to me. Prior to this I had very good experiences with the items that I had purchased and had spent over $1000 in a few months but the customer service experience soured me and I doubt that I will be ordering again.

The size charts are general guidelines for average measurements. Sizes will vary depending on designer, cut, style and fabrication. Most of our clothing will fit true to size unless otherwise noted. Our models are on average of 5'9 - 5'10 and wear a size small, size 2 - 4.

Shoes

Shoe size may vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. Fit is tested using size 7.5-8 shoe. Recommendations to order smaller or larger shoes will be visible on the description (e.g., "runs narrow; order 1/2 size up.")

HOW TO MEASURE SHOE SIZE LENGTH:

Place ruler on the ground, perpendicular to the wall, so the '0' is against the wall. In bare feet, step on the ruler, with the back of your heel against the wall. The measurement taken at the longest part of your foot determines your shoe size.

HOW TO MEASURE SHOE SIZE WIDTH:

With the ruler in the same position, step with your bare foot onto the ruler - this time with the outside of your foot touching the wall. The measurement taken at the widest part of your foot determines your shoe width.

HOW TO MEASURE HEEL HEIGHT:

We measure from a size 8-8.5 shoe and will vary slightly depending on the size you order. The heel is measured up the center back of the heel to where it meets the sole. All measurements are approximate and rounded down to the nearest quarter inch.
