First off, my initial concern was that these would run small. Second these were listed as "final sale". But as a medium wasn't available, and I was able to get these cheaper than their sale price with a code, I bit the bullet. Surprisingly, the small fit well, for me. Meaning, they were a "relaxed" fit about my waist, (so-called) hips, thighs and comfortable in the crotch (I do NOT care or need for any pair of pants to be that tight or snug). These have a bit of stretch to them too! In the photos, the material looks "painted"—which they are— so my third concern was that these were stiff and would need to be "broken in". However, the material is soft and comfortable against the skin and moves well. In addition to being a sturdy fabric and well made, the pockets are deep and not just for "show" or so tight you can't get anything into them. The "BUT" however, and why I gave this 4-stars, is that the triangle accents that are shown on the model to hit at the knees, are well below my knees. So not meant for people under five feet tall. As the fabric beneath them is stark white and these tin triangles are grommeted I'll figure our a way to take them off without damaging the fabric. That aside, dress with some platforms and these style well.

These are very nice jeans but the sizing is way off. I purchased an XL. The pant leg wouldn't pass my thigh. I would suggest sizing up one or two sizes. For those who have no problems with sizing, they are very nice to have. Unfortunately, I cannot return them and will have to eat the cost.
