My mom loved them and especially because she could still slide or slip or foot in the shoe with the strap on the back. She did like that the strap had a cushion for her on the back

Love the Look
I’m only giving these shoes a 3 star rating because the back strap broke after only one wear. I didn’t even have it on tight. It seems that part of the shoe is very sensitive and cheaply made. I will have to be forced to try to fix it or simply wear it as mules and remove the other strap from the other shoe.

Very cute, but run small and have to wear pedi-socks to keep from squeaking when walking. Only purchase from Akira that I can say is “bad”, I’ve always been pleased, too much if a hassle to return. 2 stars for cuteness.

The size charts are general guidelines for average measurements. Sizes will vary depending on designer, cut, style and fabrication. Most of our clothing will fit true to size unless otherwise noted. Our models are on average of 5'9 - 5'10 and wear a size small, size 2 - 4.

Shoes

Shoe size may vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. Fit is tested using size 7.5-8 shoe. Recommendations to order smaller or larger shoes will be visible on the description (e.g., "runs narrow; order 1/2 size up.")

HOW TO MEASURE SHOE SIZE LENGTH:

Place ruler on the ground, perpendicular to the wall, so the '0' is against the wall. In bare feet, step on the ruler, with the back of your heel against the wall. The measurement taken at the longest part of your foot determines your shoe size.

HOW TO MEASURE SHOE SIZE WIDTH:

With the ruler in the same position, step with your bare foot onto the ruler - this time with the outside of your foot touching the wall. The measurement taken at the widest part of your foot determines your shoe width.

HOW TO MEASURE HEEL HEIGHT:

We measure from a size 8-8.5 shoe and will vary slightly depending on the size you order. The heel is measured up the center back of the heel to where it meets the sole. All measurements are approximate and rounded down to the nearest quarter inch.
